1988 Ford Mustang GT NYPD Car From GMP 18812

Posted by Rob on 8/31/2015 to KC Auto Diecast Car Blog
GMP has announced another hot Mustang diecast car. This time it's the 1988 Ford Mustang GT NYPD car in 1:18 scale. This diecast is a replica of a car that the New York Police Department impounded in a dragnet operation to curb street racing in the borough of Queens. They use these cars for patrol and community service events. GMP nailed it with detail on this car. It features opening doors, hood and trunk along with awesome detail in the engine bay and interior. We have a limited amount of these pre-order from GMP and with a limited production run of an estimated 996, they will surely sell out fast. Reserve yours today to make sure you get one!

Jeff Gordon Rainbow Paint Scheme Returns to the Track

Posted by Rob on 8/6/2015 to KC Auto Diecast Car Blog
Jeff Gordon's #24 Rainbow paint scheme is one of the most iconic in NASCAR history and it will make a return to the track for one last race on August 22nd at Bristol Motor Speedway.  Jeff drove the original rainbow paint scheme from his first race for Hendrick Motorsports in 1992 through the 2000 season.  It seems fitting that he brings these colors back for a race in his last season of racing full time.  Lionel Racing is replicating this car in 1:24 scale diecast and we have it available for pre-order.  Delivery is expected in November and like every other car since he announced his retirement, this one is expected to sell out fast.  Get your orders in now before they are gone!
